Our History
For more then 40 years Luigi DiRosa owned Alba Pastry Shoppe and worked along side Enzo the Baker. Together they continue to pass on their great wealth of knowledge to Luigi's son Angelo DiRosa who shares his fathers love of baking, continuing a proud tradition of great bakers.
Alba Bakery was located in the heart of Bensonhurst on 18th Avenue, the heart of great Italian Baking. Over the years, Luigi noticed many of his patrons had moved to Staten Island. His love of baking and commitment to producing great Italian speciality items led him to create Luigi's Dolceria reuniting his loyal clientele with the delicious fare they had come to know and love.
